As always, I have to include at least one paragraph focused on dogs, otherwise it won't be me! My 1.5 year-old FrΓΈya has suffered with dry skin since her birth, actually. She came to our house always scratching and you could see some dandruff on her fur occasionally.

After getting a recommendation from our vet to "simply use shampoo for sensitive skin" and obviously it not helping, I decided to take the matter in my own hands. For this reason, I researched what would be the natural remedies for dry skin on dogs, and I was (somewhat) surprised to find out not oils were making the biggest difference, but oatmeal! Yes, what we normally use as a skin scrub (which logically would lead to dead skin cells falling off, causing the dandruff appearing), actually works wonders on dogs. And it is safe for pets.
