SOAPMATE began as a simple experiment, sparked by a personal journey of discovery and a love for all things natural. As a digital marketer, I was constantly surrounded by the fast pace of technology and screens, but my heart always longed for something more tangible. I was drawn to the quiet, patient work of craftsmen - people like my boyfriend, a talented carpenter whose skill with his hands fascinated me. Inspired by him, I even ventured into beekeeping, another beautiful craft that connected me to the rhythm of nature. Yet, for all my admiration, I never quite found my own place in the world of handmade artistry. That is, until soapmaking found me.
For years, I struggled with eczema on my hands, an issue made worse by the harsh chemicals in commercial soaps. It became a constant frustration, one that forced me to give up those familiar products. Out of necessity, I decided to try making my own soap, hoping for a kinder alternative. What started as an experiment turned into something magical. The process of blending natural oils and botanicals felt different from anything I had tried before. It was peaceful, creative, and deeply satisfying. And, to my surprise, my hands began to heal - not through any miracle cure, but simply by using gentle, nourishing ingredients.
That was when SOAPMATE was born.
Nature, the changing seasons, and the beauty in the world around me have always been my greatest inspirations. I wanted to create something that not only reflected that, but also offered a product people could trust. It wasn’t easy. Finding high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients took time, but I was committed to it. Today, I’m proud to say that every bar of SOAPMATE soap is made with care, using only the finest natural materials - because those details make all the difference.
SOAPMATE is more than just soap. It's a reminder of simplicity, of being connected to nature and to ourselves. Each bar tells a story, not just mine, but the story of the earth’s seasons, of patience, and of craftsmanship. It’s an invitation to slow down, to take a moment for yourself, and to experience the warmth of something made by hand with love.
